“This is the way you left me”. At first I thought it was referring to the manner of the person leaving. As in how you ended things with me. Now I think it means the condition I was in after you were done with me.
It was a powerful song for me before the mental meaning shift. Now it’s blowing me away with how much it speaks about my current state.
